We take an educational approach to our windows and doors so our customers will be well informed and ready to make the right purchase for their most prized investment. All of our expert installers are full and doors so we can be sure the job is done right the first time.

When it comes to buying new windows for your Florida sunroom, the options are endless. Windows make up the most important part of the sunroom so your choice of window is very important. Following are some common window choices for a sunroom.

  • Fixed windows– This type of window is typically used higher up in the sunroom where the windows will not be opened and closed.
  • Casement windows– Casement windows are hinged windows that typically swing outward. These allow you to open the whole window.
  • Awning windows– Awning windows are also hinged windows but these are hinged at the top. This type of window typically opens with a crank.
  • Double hung windows– Double hung windows open from the top and the bottom. If both the top and bottom sashes are open about half way, this allows for maximum air flow.

If you want to make sure the new windows in your sunroom don’t cause your power bill to increase, look for the energy star logo when you are choosing your windows. The energy star logo tells you that the window will be energy efficient and will save on power usage.
